TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2022 Out: Every year, Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission conducts the TNPSC Group 4 exam to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Officer, Steno-Typist Posts by a minimum qualification of 10th standard. The TNPSC Group 4 Exam is conducted in offline mode, followed by document verification. TNPSC Group 4 2022 Online Application
TNPSC has started accepting online applications from eligible and interested candidates from 30th March 2022 onwards along with the release of the detailed TNPSC Group 4 Notification. TNPSC Group 4 2022- Steps to Apply online
Candidates are advised to follow the following steps to complete the online application
Step I: You can go to the official website of TNPSC to apply online or click on the direct link mentioned below to apply online, once it is active.
Step II: A page will be opened where you will get the registration and login form.
Step III: Enter the required details in the form and Upload your Photo and signature.
Step IV: After that Fill in your communication address and Upload your Photo and signature.
Step V: Before submitting the form, preview your details.
Step VI: Pay your fee through Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking/ E-Challan if applicable.
Step VII: Click on submit and Your form will be submitted successfully.
Step VIII: Your Online TNPSC Group 4 application process is completed and you can take a print out of the application form for further use.
TNPSC Group 4 Application Fee
1. There is a one-time Registration Fee of Rs. 150/- (valid for 5 years). Candidates who are already registered are not required to register again.
2. There is an Examination Fee of Rs.100/-, which is for the TNPSC Group 4 exam only.
Note- The fee is payable by online mode through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card on or before the last date of submission of the online application
3. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars)/ Scheduled Tribes/ Persons with Benchmark Disability/ Destitute Widow are exempted from TNPSC Group 4 Examination Fee.
4. Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities/ Backward Classes (Other than Muslim)/ Backward Classes (Muslim) have 3 free chances while Ex-Servicemen have 2 free chances.
TNPSC Group 4 Application Form Prerequisites:
Important things which you should keep with you while filling the Application Form:
Scanned copy of your Signature ( 1kb < Size < 12 kb ) in JPG format.
Scanned copy of your Photo ( 4 kb < Size < 20kb ) in JPG format.
You should have a valid E-Mail I.D with you which can be used for registration purposes.
You should have valid Identity Proof with you.
TNPSC Group IV Education Qualification
Village Administrative Officer (VAO) - SSLC passed with the minimum marks
Junior Assistant (Security) - SSLC passed with the minimum marks
Junior Assistant (Non-Security) - SSLC passed with the minimum marks
Bill Collector - SSLC passed with the minimum marks
Draftsmen - SSLC passed with the minimum marks
Typist - SSLC passed with the minimum marks that can grant admission to higher secondary courses and Government Technical Examination in typewriting.
Steno-Typist (Grade – III) - SSLC exam with the minimum marks that can grant admission to higher secondary courses and Government Technical Examination in both typewriting & shorthand.
Field Surveyor - Candidates must be trained in surveys in industrial training institutes.
Typing and Stenography - Candidates must have certification in computer on office automation awarded for the Typist post and Steno-typist.
Steno-Typist (Grade–III) in Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board - Must have passed H.S.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to College Courses of studies.
TNPSC Group 4 2022 Exam Pattern
The TNPSC Group 4 paper is of 3 hours having 300 questions. TNPSC Group 4 is an objective type paper. The minimum qualifying mark is 90 for all the categories. The questions in Part-A will be set in Tamil only and the questions on General Studies & Aptitude & Mental Ability Test will be available in both English and Tamil.
TNPSC Group 4 2022 Syllabus
The candidates must begin their preparation with the subject-wise TNPSC Group 4 syllabus 2022. There are 2 sections in TNPSC Group IV Syllabus from which the questions will be asked: General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test.
General Studies - History, Current Events, Indian Polity , Geography, Economics , Indian National Movement, Development Administration in Tamil Nadu , History, Culture, Heritage, and Socio-Political Movements of TN.
Aptitude and Mental Ability Test - Simplification, Ratio and Proportion , Simple Interest , Compound Interest , Area , Volume, Time and Work ,Logical Reasoning , Puzzles ,Dice ,Visual Reasoning ,Alpha Numeric Reasoning ,Number Series.
TNPSC Group 4 2022 Admit Card
The commission release the Admit Card from the official website a few days before the exam. Candidates have to carry their admit card to the exam centres, otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The admit card/ hall ticket is released for those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form of TNPSC Group 4. The admit card of further exams is released for only those candidates who had qualified for the previous stage of the exam.
TNPSC Group 4 2022 Answer Key
The TNPSC Group 4 Answer Key is released some days after the commencement of the exam. The candidates can calculate their marks with the help of the answer key and this will help them to get an idea about their stand in the exam. They can start preparation for the next round if they are near the cut off of the previous year.
TNPSC Group 4 2022 Result
The result of TNPSC Group 4 result is generally released a few months after the release of Answer Key. Generally, along with the result, the commission releases the revised answer key and marks. Then your roll number or name appears in the result PDF, you are qualified to appear for the next round of the exam.
TNPSC Group 4 Document Verification
After the commencement of the exam process, and deceleration of the final result the selected candidates have to appear for the document verification to prove their candidature for the exam. This is also an important part of the exam, if you fail to prove your candidature you will be disqualified from the exam process. After the document verification, the Department/ posts are allotted to the candidates.
